This beautifully hand beaded choker necklace is made with hundreds of tiny size 11/0 Cz seed beads in the traditional Navajo Yei pattern on a black background. This wholesale beadwork necklace has irredescent pink beads mixed with red, black and white beads.
The Yei is a universal Navajo symbol meaning the "Holy People" (masked Holy People), the deities of the Dine who live in a world beneath the earth's surface.
Central among the Yei are Changing Woman and her two sons, Monster Slayer and Child of the Water. It was Changing Woman for whom the other Yei conducted the first Kinaald!a – "Walking into Beauty" ceremony (girl’s puberty ritual), and it is Changing Women who created the Human Peoples, the Din’e.
This wholesale Yei hand beaded choker necklace measures 5.3 inches (13.5 cm) from the top of the choker band to the bottom of the drops. The choker is 1.25" ( 3.2 cm) wide and the length is adjustible from 14 - 15.5 inches. (35.6 cm to 39.4 cm).
Matching wholesale beaded earrings are included. The earrings are 1" wide (2.5 cm) by 2 1/2" long ( 6.4 cm), not counting the hypo-allergenic french ear wires.
