Pre-Punched Leather Breastplate Spacer Strips

Strap leather strips pre-punched for making breastplates. These will really save you a lot of time on your next craft project. This is a 24" strip that is punched every half inch, for a total of 48 rows.

You will need four strips for a full size man's breastplate. The average sized man's breastplate takes 33 rows if you add decorative drops at the bootm, but you will want to make it longer if it is for a person who is very heavy or very tall. If you don't need the excess, you can cut it off and the scrap is perfect for a child's breastplate or mini-breastplate choker.
