These 9 mm translucent Mixed Colors glass crow beads are replicas of the kind of beads often used as trade beads in the 1600s to 1800s. This type of bead was traded by Lewis & Clark.
They are comparable in size to the imitation plastic beads sold at craft stores under the trade name of pony beads. They are also called roller beads.
Translucent means they are a semi-transparent color that allows light to pass through, giving them a very lovely color. You are purchasing a strand of approximately 100 beads of the same color.
