This medicine bag is made with a real buffalo horn that has been polished to a high shine. The strap and medicine bag are made with your choice of black buckskin (shown) or gold buckskin leather. The medicine bag has a drawstring closure.
The genuine buckskin neckstrap is braided for strength and comfort. The horn is approximately 2″ X 7″ and the braided neckstrap is about 26″ long.
The horn shown is representative, the one you receive may vary slightly. Horn colors vary from marbled and black to near black, and the length also varies slightly. Pulled randomly.
In the old days, a hollowed out buffalo horn was lined with grass, then used to carry a fire ember from camp to camp.
