They average around 1.5″ to 2″ wide by 2″ to 2.5″  tall. Sizes will vary depending on the size of the deer they were harvested from. These measurements are just an estimate, sizes will vary somewhat.

We also have the larger deer hooves, which form the toes at the end of the deer leg and are the part they walk on.

These hooves and dew claws are deboned, cleaned and ready to drill. They are easy to drill with a carpenter’s electric drill, or if you have a surgical S needle, they are easy to drill by hand by using this needle with a twisting motion. It usually takes only a few seconds to drill through by either method. The S needle is also the best thing I’ve found for sewing leather.
