This abalone shell and ermine tails breastplate is hand crafted from genuine buffalo bone or buffalo horn hairpipe beads, and your choice of metal beads and crow bead colors.

This handcrafted white buffalo bone breastplate features 33 rows of polished hairpipe beads with your choice of glass crow bead spacers (shown with translucent green), all strung on strong artificial sinew and accented with your choice of soft deerskin leather colors (shown in beige).
The center is adorned with an abalone disc and two ermine tails with black tips, accented by your choice of metal beads and cone colors for subtle shine.
Detailed leather fringes hang along each side and between the hairpipe rows for a balanced, traditional design. The piece measures approximately 24 inches long (not including the fringes or curved drops at the bottom).
Whether displayed as Western wall art, used in reenactments as part of your outfit, or ceremonial dance regalia, or simply appreciated as artisan craft, this breastplate brings heritage craftsmanship and natural materials together in one striking piece.
This buffalo horn or bone hairpipe breastplate is accented with your choice of glass crow beads, in your color choice, or brass, silver, or copper beads and matching cones. The centerpiece is a 2″ abalone disc with real buffalo teeth attached with metal cones. Or if you prefer, we can replace the buffalo teeth with horse hair or coyote teeth. Leave a note with your order to let us know exactly how you want it. If you don’t give us specific instructions, we will make it like the picture shown.
We have all these crow bead colors. You can choose two colors. If you don’t indicate a preference, we will make it like the pictures.
There are many long buckskin fringes along the sides and you can choose the color of the buckskin, hairpipe beads, crow beads and metal beads. We make this piece especially for you when you order it. Please allow up to a week for construction of this customized breastplate.
