Strap leather strips pre-punched for making breastplates. These will really save you a lot of time on your next craft project. This is a 24″(60.96cm) cowhide leather strip that is punched every half inch, for a total of 48 rows.

You will need four strips to make a full size man’s breastplate. The average sized man’s breastplate takes 33 rows if you add decorative drops at the bottom, but you will want to use the full strip if it is for a person who is very heavy or very tall. If you don’t need the excess, you can cut it off and the scrap is perfect for a child’s breastplate or mini-breastplate choker.
