These rooster or coque furnace neck hackle feathers are sold by the strung of 6 inches. A foot of furnace hackle feathers is roughly 80-90 feathers. These feathers are 3″ to 6″ long by about 1/2″ to 3/4″ wide. They are loosely strung on string, which keeps them neat while you are working, yet it is easy to pull off as many feathers as you need for your project.
Furnace neck hackles are a favorite for dream catcher feathers, masks, rattles and other native american craft projects.
