Turquoise is a stone of communication (5th Chakra). New Age healers recommend it for people who have a fear of public speaking. They believe it has the ability to make a speaker more eloquent, loving, creative and honest.

In most Native American cultures, Turquoise stands for water and for sky, for bountiful harvests, health and protection. To the Navajo tribe, the color turquoise represents happiness, luck, and health. Turquoise is considered to be a bridge between Heaven/Sky and Earth, grounding us while still remaining open to Spirit.

The healing powers of a turquoise pendant also improve the mental state overall by increasing all of the following positive mental characteristics: serenity, creativity, empathy, positive thinking, sensitivity, intuition, happiness, and wisdom.
