Shipping and Returns Policies
Our shipping and returns policies are outlined on this page.
Most orders are shipped within one or two days. Occasionally an item is temporarily out of stock. If we are expecting a new shipment within a week, we will hold your order until it arrives, unless you tell us you are in a hurry in the comment box on your order form. If the delay will be longer than a week, we will refund that portion of your order that is out of stock, and send the rest of the order.
If you log into your My Account page, you can see all your orders and their status. We write a comment on your order each time we do something in processing your order. When your order has shipped, you will be able to see the Tracking Number on the order.
We charge the actual cost of postage, based on what the US Post Office charges us for Flat Rate Priority Mail, plus the actual cost of insurance if the value of your order is over $50.00, unless you specifically tell us you don't want Insurance for the full value of your order. If you choose not to insure your package for the full value, you will not receive a refund of the amount over $50.00 if it gets damaged or lost in transit. This is the cheapest and fastest way to ship.
SHIPPING METHODS IN CONTINENTAL US, ALASKA, HAWAII, GUAM, PUERTO RICO, VIRGIN ISLANDS, APOs/FPOs, and US MILITARY BASES
We ship via the United States Postal Service. If your order will fit in a US Priority Mail box, we will ship by US Priority Mail unless you give us instructions that you prefer another method. On larger orders that don't fit in Priority Mail boxes, we will ship by US Parcel Post. Smal items tha fit in a padded envelope may be shipped by US First Class Mail. Depending on what you order, your order may arrive in multiple boxes.
If you prefer to have your order shipped by Express Mail service, we can do that by special arrangement, but shipping charges will be substantially higher, and in many cases cost prohibitive, and may only save a day over Priority Mail.
Express Mail still takes two business days from where we live to anywhere in the continental US, and will arrive at your post office by 3:00pm on the second day, not counting the day it was mailed. However, your post office may not deliver it to you until the following day, unless you go to the counter and ask for it.
Example: Mail leaves our post office at 4:00pm on Monday. Your post office will receive it by 3:00pm Wednesday. There is no faster way to ship from the rural area we are located in.
WE DO NOT RECOMMEND USING EXPRESS MAIL UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY DUE TO THE SUBSTANTIAL ADDED COST.
SHIPPING OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES
We ship to all countries that do not have a trade embargo with the US, and that PayPal.com will process payments from, EXCEPT ITALY. Packages almost never seem to be received in Italy, so we no longer ship to that country.
The cost will vary depending on what country you are in and the size of the package, so we will send you a separate bill for postage when your order is ready to be shipped.
You can estimate the cost at https://postcalc.usps.com/ After you fill out the top form, click on View Flat Rate Boxes for international rates for your country. We ship in Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes on all International orders. This is the cheapest way.
Some countries also charge a Duty Fee on imported items. This is the responsibility of the buyer.
ITEMS CONTAINING FEATHERS OR ANIMAL PARTS
Many countries, and some states, have restrictions on the importation of certain bird feathers, animal parts, and weapons such as knives and spears. It is your responsibility to check with your local customs or local game department, to be sure the item(s) you are ordering are allowed into your country or state. By ordering items containing these materials, you agree we are not responsible for items seized by Customs Inspectors or State Inspectors, or any criminal or civil penalties that may arise from such importation.
You must email us within 1 day of receiving your order to report damaged items or obtain a Return Authorization before sending any returns, and your return must be received within 7 days. Returns will NOT be accepted after 7 days. NO EXCEPTIONS.
You must contact us using our Contact Us Form to make arraignments for any returns. Please do not take it upon yourself to simply return any merchandise without contacting us first and waiting for our instructions, or you will void any and all return rights. We will provide instructions to you via email on how, when and where to return the merchandise if a return is necessary.
Because we are a wholesale business and operate on a low margin of profit, returns generally result in a loss on the transaction. We have already paid employees to pull, inspect, and pack your order, and now will have to pay them again to unpack, do paperwork, and return the returned items to inventory. For this reason, we charge a 20% restocking fee on all returned items.
Items marked as Close Outs are non-returnable and non-refundable.
We also do not reimburse the shipping and handling charges on the original order, and you are responsible for the return postage.
We recommend that you obtain a Delivery Confirmation slip so the package can be tracked, and insure the contents. We are not responsible for returns that have gone astray.
All returns must be received in their original package and be in sellable condition. Opened, used, dirty, worn, or sun faded items will not be accepted and we will charge you for the return postage costs. If the item was sold in a minimum quantity, ALL items in that quantity must be returned in order to get a refund.

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS
Your order is examined at least twice before packing, so it is rare to receive a defective item. While we are careful to package your order securely with lots of padding for safe shipment, accidents do sometimes happen on rare occasions in shipment.
If your purchase arrives in damaged condition,
1) Contact us wthin one day of receiving your order to report any damaged items.
2) DO NOT automatically return it without contacting us first, and
3) Save the original packing material and original shipping box until we send you instructions on how to proceed.
We insure most shipments, and our insurance carrier may require us to show them the packing material we shipped the item in to get a reimbursement.
In many instances, you can just email us a picture of the damaged item rather than returning it and incurring additional shipping charges. If you return the item without us telling you to, we will deduct the return postage from your refund. We will gladly give you a replacement or refund for any damaged items when our return instructions are followed.
We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors such as typos or the ommision of a price. If you find an item priced at $0.00, you can assume it is clearly an error, and you should email us to get the correct price. We will correct the price on your order if we feel there was a pricing error on an item.
