International Shipping Rules for Feathers

We ship feathers all over the world but depending on what country you live in, you may or may not be required to have a USDA Veterinary Health Certificate for customs clearance. If a health certificate is required, there is a $100 acquisition fee for this document.

Additionally, U.S. Fish & Wildlife maintains what they call a ‘Domesticated Species List’. For exports of anything not on the domesticated species list, a USFW Export Declaration Document will also be required. The cost to acquire this document is $175.00.

If either of these permits must be purchased to ship feathers to your country, we will pass these fees on to you. Contact us if you need further information.

Just about every other country will require a health certificate. If we have shipped to your country before, a health certificate should only take about one week for us to acquire. If we haven’t shipped to your country before, we will need to get some information from your ministry of agriculture/animal health which could take some time, typically about 3-4 weeks.

Import Permits May Also be Required On Your End.
