Description

This gorgeous one-of-a-kind necklace has two unusual Carnelian Agate trade beads and a three dimensional bone turtle as the focal point. A sterling silver feather dangles from the belly of the turtle. The upper portion of the necklace has twelve carneilian agate chips interspersed with heishi beads from the Santo Domingo Pueblo.

Overall length of the necklace is 28 inches, plus the turtle and dangling feather add another 1 1/2 inches. The hand carved bone turtle is approximately 1 1/2 inches long by 7/8 inch wide. The two large carnelian agate beads are approximately 3/4″ x 1/2″ in diameter. It has a sterling silver claw clasp.
