Description

This black fox dance staff has a full fox head and skull. The staff is wrapped with black buckskin and there are many buckskin fringes decorated with glass crow trade beads, brass beads and brass cones.

There are two macaw feathers at the neck, which are red on one side and bright blue on the other. The bottom of the staff has five guinea feathers.

There is a strand of horsehair for stamina on the neck. The staff also has a 4″ section beaded with irridescent glass seed beads in shades of red and black, and there is more fox fur above the beadwork.

The end of the staff is finished off with a black fox tail. Overall length of this staff is about 40 inches, including the tail. There is a loop for hanging at the base of the head.
